Live in it.....Love it.

I believe if you are going to live in it, you should LOVE it. You should be excited to come home to it everyday and be proud to show it off. I want to inspire you to make your home what you have always dreamed of. It doesn't matter how big or small the space is, it is what you do with that space that makes all the difference. I'll show you how I make our home something that we live in....and love it and I will show you how I do that on a budget.

Home Goals 2012

Today I will be joining The Nester for her 2nd Annual Home Goals Link Party.

Great way to start off the year.  Putting it all down on paper or in this case out in the blogosphere.

The Decor Scene 2012 Home Goals
This list is going to be realistic as possible for me.  I hope to get through at least 75% of the list in 2012, but I do hope for 100%.  Here is to hoping I will get it all done!!!  ;)

Finish up our Laundry Room. It was one of the last major projects we worked on and we still are not finished with the little things in the room.

-  Make curtains to hide the furnance & hot water heater {already have
   fabric}
-  Caulk all trim work
-  Paint all trim work
-  Figure out a solution to hide the dryer vent
-  Organize all the cabinets
-  Hang some art
-  Enjoy!!!

 I need to organize every closet in the house.

-  Linen closet
-  Master bedroom closet
-  2nd bedroom closet
-  Office closet
-  Family Room closet

We need to organize & purge our shed.

-  12x12 shed completely unorganized
-  We don't have a garage, so we have to make the most of our shed
-  Inside needs to be painted white to make it brighter {no windows}
-  Need to add two vents
-  Need to waterproof the shed
-  Paint cement floor
-  Put in lots and lots of organizing products like bins and hooks.
-  Maybe install peg board

We have come a long way with this shed. ;)

Completely redesign our Sunroom. This is a project that might have to be done in steps and might not get done in one year.

-  New windows
-  New flooring
-  New paneling
-  Furniture
-  Paint
-  Need to try to make this room more weather proof

Bathroom mini-remodel.

-  Lighter paint color
-  Need to have a vent installed {we don't have one}
-  Some new accessories

What are you goals for this year?

Thanks for stopping by everyone!!!  Have a great day!!!  :)

  7. My goal for 2012 is to turn my attic into an office / goldsmith work place. it's going to be white and turquoise. Turquoise is the most inspiring color I can think of. A heck of a job but so rewarding when it's done.
